Otud nije neobično što postoji dosta inspirativnih i pozitivnih citata za osobe obolele od raka – dojke i ostalih oblika.
 
Rak je bolest sama po sebi koja čini da se osoba oseća usamljeno, izolovano, izopšteno i dodatno teško. Ponekad, ma koliko trivijalno zvučalo, reči utehe i citati mogu pomoći da, makar na kratko, odagnaju tešku i bolnu surovu realnost i da čovek povrati ili dobije novu nadu i snagu, a ponekad i podršku. S tim u vezi, sakupili smo citate poznatih i manje znanih žena i muškaraca koji su prošli kroz ova i slična iskustva: za motivaciju, inspiraciju, nadu u sutra, novu snagu.
